The Public Employment Service of Catalonia (SOC) wants to establish long-term cooperation programs based on reciprocity, as well as explore other cooperation agreements, with the aim of sending and hosting students and teachers who carry out a learning mobility experience.

SOC is accredited by the Spanish National Erasmus+ Agency (SEPIE) as coordinator of the Erasmus+ Vocational Education and Training Consortium to promote mobility among teachers and students of professional employment courses, aimed at both unemployed and employed citizens.Under this framework, the SOC coordinates the ITER mobility project, a partnership of 28 Catalan vocational education and training centers that has been awarded more than 150 student mobility grants (under KA121 Erasmus+ VET calls) for internships and work shadowing experiences in the following years. 

The main objective of the mobility of the ITER project is to provide support to the participants on the mobility path to ensure the growth of their employability by improving their personal and professional skills through the mobility experience abroad.

• Student mobilities: quarterly mobilities

• Teacher mobility: 7-10 days.

A call is currently open for host partners to co-organize 115 mobilities until August 2023. At this link you can find a list of professional certificates that the consortium members prioritized for this call. 

What they are looking for:• reliable and permanent host partners for our Erasmus+ vocational education and training project for: • Accommodate vocational education and training students in companies that offer quality internship engagements• Organize work experiences for our VET teachers• Support them in finding accommodation• Support in finding or organizing a language course, if necessary• Support for managing project documents• Emergency contact, if necessary.
