Accessibility and inclusiveness are at the heart of Culture Moves Europe, and special support will be awarded to people living with disabilities and people who take care of children. It will also provide special support to those traveling to and from overseas countries and territories, as well as the outermost regions of the EU. The mobility program specifically targets emerging artists and will strive to maintain a gender and geographic balance among its grantees.
Culture Moves Europe is equally committed to sustainable and environmentally responsible action. Mobility measures do not support air travel below a distance of 600 km and encourage grant recipients to use more sustainable means of transport where possible with additional financial allowances.
The new action is part of the Creative Europe program for the period 2021-2027.
