The head of the Representation of Slavonia, Baranja and Srijem in Brussels, Ms. Renata Taušan, had the honor and pleasure of hosting a delegation from the Public Institution of the Zadar County Development Agency ZADRA NOVA.

During their stay in the Representative Office, visitors had the opportunity to hear about the establishment of the office itself, its activities, tasks and organization. The goal of the office's work is synergistic cooperation in the realization of individual and joint projects of strategic interest for the area of ​​all five counties and the holding of meetings with relevant stakeholders from EU institutions and representatives of the Republic of Croatia in Brussels.

For the last two years, the Representative office has been actively participating as a partner in events within the European Week of Regions and Cities. It is an opportunity to present the Representative Office to regional and local actors at the level of the European Union. This was also an opportunity to present to the visitors the participation of the Representation in the European Week of Regions and Cities and the topics we dealt with: Youth matters - examples from the regional and local perspective and Interoperability of digital solutions.

Also, rural tourism development projects in the area of ​​Slavonia, Baranja and Srijem were presented to the visitors. We are pleased that the presented projects were recognized at the level of the Republic of Croatia, and the visitors expressed their interest in additional contents that Slavonija, Baranja and Srijem can offer in the tourism sector.

Cooperation between the Representative office and other regions of the Republic of Croatia is necessary in order for the voice of citizens from local areas to be heard in Brussels. That is why the meeting was concluded with the desire for future cooperation between the Zadar County Development Agency ZADRA NOVA and the Representative Office.

The Representative office of Slavonia, Baranja and Srijem is open to all citizens of the Republic of Croatia.
