An informal meeting was held with Dimitrij Pur, advisor for regional policy at the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Slovenia to the European Union.

The representation of Slavonia, Baranja and Srijem was visited by Dimitrij Pur, advisor for regional policy from the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Slovenia to the European Union.

The head of the office, Renata Taušan, and the adviser for regional policy, Dimitrij Pur, during an informal visit, discussed the current work of the Representation in Brussels and the advantages and importance of having a representation of one region in Brussels.

The regional representative office has a unique perspective of participating in the processes of the European Union institutions through the dimension of the local community and knowing the situations at the local and regional level in real time and first hand.

This is an opportunity to make the European Union closer to the inhabitants of our regions.
