The Commission has today published a call for proposals under the European Solidarity Corps 2023.

The European Solidarity Corps is an EU program for young people who want to get involved in activities in various fields, from helping disadvantaged people to contributing to health and environmental activities across the EU. and beyond. The invitation aims to create more opportunities for solidarity for young people. More than 142 million euros are available for this purpose. Volunteering, youth-led solidarity projects, volunteer teams in high-priority areas helping people fleeing conflict, victims of natural or natural disasters, and prevention and support in the field of health will be financed. This call also offers participants the opportunity to contribute to humanitarian operations around the world.
The program is open to people aged 18 to 30 for solidarity activities in the field of social challenges and between 18 and 35 for volunteering in support of international humanitarian aid activities. Young people who want to get involved in the activities of the European Solidarity Corps must register on the European Solidarity Corps portal, where they can browse and find organizations implementing projects. Youth groups that are registered on the European Solidarity Forces portal can also apply for funding for solidarity projects in their own organization. Any public or private body can apply for financing activities under the European Solidarity Corps on the basis of a quality label confirming that high-quality solidarity activities are carried out in accordance with the principles, objectives and requirements of the programme.
