Within the framework of the Single Market Program, a call has been opened: Greening social economy SMEs and entrepreneurs in the proximity and social economy ecosystem through transnational cooperation (SMP-COSME-2022-SEE).

The general goal of this call for proposals is to green the processes and activities of SMEs in the social economy by encouraging the development of sustainable practices through capacity building, knowledge transfer and transnational cooperation.The aim of the call is to strengthen SMEs' social economies in order to achieve the goals set by the EU Green Plan by encouraging their capacities and skills, improving sustainable management and greening their operations.

The call will support transnational partnerships in order to increase the capacities of SMEs and social economy entrepreneurs in proximity and social economy ecosystems with the aim of greening their business, and innovating their products, services and processes, and enabling them to increase their contribution to the EU's green transition. Improved transnational cooperation of public bodies and other stakeholders on the identification and implementation of sustainability practices for proximity ecosystems and social economy is expected. Eligible applicants (users and related entities): legal entities (public or private bodies) with a place of business in one of the EU member states (including overseas countries and territories), others in accordance with the invitation document.Public authorities and organizations acting on behalf of public authorities (areas of social economy, economic affairs, industry, business support, etc.) are especially encouraged to participate in the consortium.
