EIT Digital has launched the 10th edition of its flagship competition for European digital businesses, the EIT Digital Challenge.
The EIT Digital Challenge aims to identify the best European deep tech entrepreneurs and help them expand internationally, supporting the European deep tech ecosystem.We are looking for fast-growing European "deep tech" companies with a differentiated product offering that use sophisticated digital technologies that are difficult to reproduce. The competition provides a platform for companies where they can present their innovations, and potential exit and success at the international level.
Fast-growing start-ups with existing clients - also known as scale-up companies - are invited to apply for the tender if they develop digital solutions in one of five thematic areas:
· digital technology
· digital industry
· digital cities
· digital well-being
· digital finance.
Eligible applicants:
• fast-growing technology companies with international ambitions
• companies that were founded after January 1, 2013.
• companies established in the EU27 or associated countries Obzor Europa
• growth phase: min. 300,000 EUR of income or 2,000,000 EUR through financing.
Up to 10 winning companies will receive tailored international growth grants worth EUR 50,000 provided by the EIT Digital Accelerator. This includes help to raise their next Series A or B from strategic international investors supported by an experienced finance access team using EIT Digital's network of 300+ top European corporations and 1000+ investors, SMEs, universities and research institutions.Applicants can review their market readiness and go-to-market strategy to support and meet their international goals. Participation in the competition will also provide applicants with international visibility through EIT Digital communication channels.
