In the Representation of Slavonia, Baranja and Srijem in Brussels, a meeting was held with Minister Advisor Ivan Zeko-Pivač from the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Croatia to the EU, on the topic - Overview of the current cohesion policy, the future of cohesion policy, Interreg programs and current changes within the Multiannual Financial Framework .

Every year we gather, and this year too this is a great opportunity to meet representatives of the five Slavonian counties in the office of the Representation of Slavonia, Baranja and Srijem. This was an informative meeting in which we commented on all current topics related to the EU level, especially related to cohesion policy. We talked about what to expect in the next period, as well as the one that comes after 2027. With the representatives of the counties, regional coordinators, we talked about what to expect and how to improve the action as a whole. The European Days of Regions and Cities gather more and more Croats, representatives of the Croatian community, but also our international friends, with whom we exchange information and create new bonds. This Representation of our five Slavonian counties attracts an increasing number of people, indicating that the Representation has a permanent status at the level of Brussels and gathers an increasing number of people who recognize our efforts in creating new connections that are important for Croatia as well, and thus for Slavonia, Baranja and Srijem - emphasized Ivan Zeko-Pivač.

This meeting was attended by representatives of all five Slavonian counties and regional coordinators.
