The Commission launched a new interactive guide that shows all the possibilities of financing rural areas available at the EU level.

EU funds and programs are needed to promote sustainable growth and well-being in rural areas. However, determining the most suitable option is not always easy for potential users. The toolkit for rural areas collects funding opportunities from 26 different EU funds, from the Common Agricultural Policy to the Cohesion Funds, Horizon Europe and the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism. In just a few clicks, entrepreneurs from rural areas and local authorities can find the best financial resources available to them for project development.

The goal of this newly launched comprehensive gateway to EU funding and support initiatives available to rural areas in the EU is to provide applicants with the knowledge and tools needed to meet local needs. Users can be local authorities, institutions, companies, associations and individuals.
