We would like to inform you that the application for this year's European Week of Regions and Cities is now open!
This year, #EURegionsWeek will expand to three consecutive weeks in October, from October 5 to 22, 2020.
More than 500 workshops await you, which will reveal various topics within the thematic priorities
- Empowerment of citizens,
- Cohesion and cooperation
- and Green Europe.
Due to security measures and the sanitary situation caused by COVID-19, this year will be the first fully digital #EURegionsWeek.
What it means:
- all sessions will be organized with almost no physical audience (only the physical presence of speakers is limited for sessions that require translation);
- the key sessions of EURegionsWeek 2020 - political opening, political closure, dialogues with citizens and high-level debates - will be broadcast and broadcast live;
- presentations will be replaced by virtual interactive presentations where you will still have the opportunity to be inspired by interesting projects and related topics.

This year we are participating in the Representation of Slavonia, Baranja and Srijem (HR) in partnership with the South Moravian Region (CZ), the Greater Poland Office in Brussels (PL), the Municipality of Di Carini (IT), the Cyprus Institute (CY), the Murcia region );
Nataša Drvenkar, associate professor, Faculty of Economics, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, was chosen as the speaker on the topic in front of our regions.
