Are you 16-30 years old and working on a project with a European dimension? Apply for the Charlemagne Youth Prize 2021 and win funds to further develop your initiative.

The European Parliament and the Charlemagne International Foundation in Aachen each year award the Charlemagne Youth Prize to youth projects with a strong EU dimension.

Reward
The three winning projects will be selected from 27 projects nominated by national juries in each EU country.

The first prize is 7,500 euros, the second prize 5,000 euros, and the third 2,500 euros. If the situation allows, representatives of all 27 national winning projects will be invited to Aachen, Germany in May 2021, where the awards ceremony will take place.

Rules

Projects must meet the following criteria in order to qualify:

Promoting European and international understanding
Encouraging the development of a common sense of European identity and integration
Serve as a role model for young people living in Europe
Offer practical examples of Europeans living together as one community
Schedule

Application deadline: February 1, 2021.
Selection of national winners: by March 15, 2021.
Aachen Awards Ceremony: May 11, 2021
