The learning platform offers you a series of 3 webinars on the topic of encouraging urban cycling in order to gain experience and knowledge on how to support cities and regions in designing these policies.

The first webinar of the series will be held on January 21, 2021 from 14.00 - 15:30.

It will focus on strategic cycling planning. Policy makers, urban planners and clean mobility managers will have the opportunity to learn more about the success stories of integrating bicycles into urban mobility planning. Which is a prerequisite for turning our cities into cycling cities.

Experts in this field are invited to share their experiences and knowledge:

Fabian Kϋster, Senior Policy Officer at the European Cycling Federation, will talk about supporting and encouraging cycling in sustainable urban mobility planning

Marina Abadia Miranda, responsible for the area of ​​bicycles in the city of Zaragoza will present the master plan for bicycles in Zaragoza (DEMO-EC)

Klemen Gostič from the Regional Development Agency of the Ljubljana Urban Region - integration of cycling into the regional SUMP for the Ljubljana Urban Region (SMART-MR).
