The Young Elected Politicians (YEP) program is a network of politicians who are not older than 40 and have a mandate at regional or local level in the EU.

The YEP program was established by the European Committee of the Regions in 2019 and was joined by more than 250 young politicians.

Successful candidates will have access to:

YEPcommunity.eu, a place to share information and experiences with YEP colleagues and YEP alumni;
- seminars, events and consultations on call;
- networking opportunities with members of the YEP community;
- courses on EU topics.
In addition, selected YEPs will have the opportunity to participate in various communication activities related to the program.
Coincidentally, all activities are currently planned online.

ELIGIBILITY OF PARTICIPATION:

To apply, candidates must:

- have the democratic mandate of an elected politician at regional or local level in a Member State of the European Union,
- be 20 years old, no more than 40 years old,
- not to have the mandate of a member or deputy of the Committee of the Regions,
- have a good knowledge of English (because some events will be held in English only),
- fill out this application form and submit it no later than March 12,
- demonstrate knowledge and direct commitment to at least one of the topics of the call
Candidates will be selected with the aim of ensuring a balance in terms of gender, regional and local representation, political affiliation and nationality.
