The European Commission has published calls for co-financing of the agri-food promotion program for 2022 (AGRIP-SIMPLE-2022 and AGRIP-MULTI-2022).

In 2022, special focus will be placed on the promotion of products and methods that more directly support the objectives of the European Green Plan, which includes the promotion of organic products, fruits and vegetables and sustainable agriculture.

The programs should highlight high standards of safety and quality, as well as the diversity and traditional aspects of EU agri-food products, including EU quality schemes.
Priority markets are those with high growth potential, such as Japan, South Korea or Canada. Promotion programs are expected to increase the consumption and competitiveness of EU agri-food products by increasing markets in target countries.

Eligible applicants (proposing organizations):

· Trade or inter-trade organizations that are representative in Croatia for a particular sector or sectors, in particular:

· Sectoral organizations and groups, ie any association, regardless of their legal form, composed mainly of producers or processors of the same product, provided that they are representative of the name protected by quality systems for agricultural and food products and covered by that program

· Trade or inter-trade organizations that are representative of a particular sector or sectors at European Union level - recognized producer organizations or associations of producer organizations

· Bodies of the agri-food sector whose goal and activity are aimed at providing information on agricultural products and their promotion and who are entrusted with the task of providing public services in this area. Projects will be assessed separately against the criteria of sustainability of production and consumption, in accordance with the climate, environmental and animal welfare of the CAP, as well as the field-to-table strategy.

Deadline for applications is April 21, 2022.

Total budget: 185.9 million EUR.
