The European Commission has published a call for proposals for 3 categories within the Cultural Part of the Creative Europe program to support European cooperation projects (CREA-CULT-2022-COOP).
With this call, the European Commission supports professionals from the cultural and creative sectors of all sizes in a wide range of activities and initiatives.
The action integrates cross-cutting issues of inclusion, environment and gender equality as well as thematic priorities relevant to the New European Bauhaus.
With a total call budget of 68m euros, the action will boost co-operation between creative sector organizations. It will also encourage the development of experimentation, dissemination or application of new and innovative practices while increasing the European dimension in the content created during the cooperation project.
The call aims to strengthen transnational creativity and enable the circulation of European works and artists. The second goal of the call is to nurture talent, innovate, advance and create jobs and growth.
Applied projects must focus on audience development, social inclusion, sustainability, digitization or the development of international links for cultural actors. Capacity building / training activities in the sectors of cultural heritage, music, books and publishing, architecture, fashion and design as well as cultural tourism are also a valid priority for this round of actions.
European cooperation projects are open to all cultural and creative sectors. However, as this action is part of the Culture Program, projects with exclusive audiovisual content and / or composed exclusively of organizations from the audiovisual sector are not eligible for funding.
