The aim of this action is to support the development of advanced digital skills of people in the workforce, with a focus on SMEs, by providing access to high-quality specialized training courses that reflect the latest developments in key areas
such as cybersecurity, AI, cloud or microelectronics.SME owners, managers and employees will have the opportunity to attend high-end digital training that larger companies can more easily afford. This action contributes to the implementation of the SME strategy for a sustainable and digital Europe, supporting the development of digital courses for SME employees. Ultimately, this action will contribute to increasing the number of people who can design, develop and implement digital solutions in the economy and among sectors. Selected projects will design and implement short-term training courses for retraining and retraining of the workforce, with special emphasis on owners, managers and employees of small and medium enterprises. Courses must be practical and provide specific knowledge of key digital technologies and their applications. Courses can vary in length, from a few days to 6 months maximum.Funding will be provided to consortia of education and training providers in collaboration with relevant stakeholders with expertise in the digital field covered.
Eligible applicants: legal entities (public or private bodies) established in one of the eligible countries (according to the program in question)
Total budget: EUR 25.000.000 (maximum grant amount per project EUR 3.000.000)
Deadline for applications: 17 May 2022.
