DIH-World (project of innovation action co-financed by the Horizon 2020 EU program) aims to accelerate the adoption of advanced digital technologies in European SME production in all sectors by supporting them in building sustainable competitive advantages and reaching global markets.

To achieve this goal, the DIH-World project consortium has launched its second open call to select and support up to 20 experiments encouraged by SMEs.
The DIH-World open call is designed to support digitization experiments involving DIH and SMEs in the manufacturing sector. Innovative experiments will receive support of up to EUR 95,000.00 for the integration of digital technologies into SME processes, products or services.
The DIH-World open call also aims to expand the DIH-World network and support the development of DIH by providing access to training and mentoring at the Academy.
Selected experiments with innovative technology will join the DIH-World community, increasing interaction and cross-border cooperation between DIH and SMEs, as well as among DIHs from the European Network.

The call is aimed at the manufacturing sector with an emphasis on: textiles, logistics, mobility, rubber and plastic products, electrical and optical equipment.
If they contribute to increasing the level of digitalization of small and medium enterprises, innovative experiments are also open to any of the following technologies: smart modeling, robotics, Internet of Things, cyber-physical system; 3D printing, data analytics, artificial intelligence, cloud technologies, high-performance computing, laser technologies, cognitive autonomous systems, human-robot interaction, cyber security, sensors.
The maximum amount to be approved per experiment is EUR 95,000.00.
