At a time when the resilience of a joint European project has been put to the test by several crises, the need to act in defense and to promote European values ​​is more important now than ever before.

The European Committee of the Regions (CoR) has launched an online map of activities and experiences that is the first concrete step towards a community of best practices at local and regional level to promote European values ​​through education and culture.
With more than 100 examples and contributions from selected CoR local and regional representatives and partners, it aims to inspire further valuable ideas and projects, while providing a variety of opportunities to share experiences, share knowledge and start collaborations.

Also, local and regional leaders are responsible for empowering young people to understand the importance of these values ​​and the European Union, which promotes and ensures peace and prosperity. Given the particularly favorable context of the Conference on the Future of Europe, encouraged by the support of CoR members, and building on existing examples from many regions, it was proposed to establish a community of best practices to facilitate dialogue and exchange of good practices.
