Youth Ambassadors of Bioeconomy lead by example, inform and inspire their community on sustainable circular bioeconomy and bioeconomy-related areas (eg food systems, forestry, agriculture, fisheries, bioclass sectors, biological sectors, natural solutions, blue bioeconomy, rural development, rural development climate change, biotechnology ...).
Youth Bioeconomy Ambassadors are dedicated to individuals or groups of individuals who want to reach out to the community, students and civil society and involve decision makers to raise awareness on social media to raise awareness of the role of the bioeconomy in everyone’s life.
They reach out to youth communities and support the European Union's ongoing youth and education process.
The ambassadors of the young bioeconomy ambassadors are expected to take office for up to two years.
The ambassadors will:
Support the European Commission in designing the content of the sessions and contribute to the introductions and conclusions of the session.
An ambassador can be an entrepreneur, innovator, high school, college, university or vocational school student, artist, expert, researcher and academic, policy maker, non-profit leader, journalist, influential on social media.
If you want to become an ambassador - apply by June 13, 2022, 23:59 CET, with your CV and fill out the application form.
Selected youth ambassadors will be notified by the end of June.
