The aim of the new call - Social Innovation for a Fair Green and Digital Transition is to fund 15 to 20 projects that develop and test integrated and include approaches to social innovation to promote a fair green and digital transition.

With a total budget of € 10 million, the call is part of the EaSI sub-program of the European Social Fund + (ESF +).

Activities to be funded are diverse such as capacity building, awareness and communication, development and testing of innovative approaches to combating energy and transport poverty, strengthening the employability of vulnerable groups in the green and digital economy and many others.

Projects under this call will contribute to:

• promoting the implementation of the 20th principle of the European Pillar of Social Law in key services, including energy, mobility and digital communications, in the context of green and digital transition.
• identify and address (re) needs for skills and (re) training arising from new, green or digital products, services or technology.
• encouraging social acceptance and / or behavior change for more sustainable business models, consumption patterns and / or modes of transport.
• develop sustainability pathways and transformation tools for social economy actors.
• adapt solutions to specific contexts, starting from general models, such as macro-level solutions for adaptation to climate change, to other, business or local environments.

Eligible applicants: EU Member States: including non-profit organizations (private or public), public authorities (national, regional, local), international organizations, universities, educational institutions, research centers or companies (or according to the program concerned).
