THE FESTIVAL of the NEW EUROPEAN BAUHAUS - together for a beautiful and sustainable future!

The FESTIVAL brings together citizens from all walks of life to discuss and shape Europe's future landscape. It is an opportunity to explore the values ​​of beauty, sustainability and togetherness of the NEW EUROPEAN BAUHAUS, and their ability to meet societal challenges. THE FESTIVAL brings the European Green Agreement to the heart of our daily lives. This first edition of the FESTIVAL will be held from June 9 to 12, 2022. as a hybrid event, and everyone is welcome to get involved on-site and online from around the world. The main activities of the FESTIVAL will take place in Brussels, with accompanying events throughout the EU and beyond, and includes events and projects. 

The main themes of the FESTIVAL are beauty, sustainability and inclusiveness. It will feature debate, great speakers, art performances, exhibitions and networking opportunities. It aims to build links between different activities and individuals, bridging the worlds of research, science and technology with the worlds of education and civic engagement and the arts, culture and architecture. 

The FESTIVAL is designed around four main pillars: 

FAIR: to exhibit and present projects and prototypes that reflect and support the values ​​of the NEW EUROPEAN BAUHAUS. It consists of exhibitions showing current projects and products that embody the values ​​and principles of the NEW EUROPEAN BAUHAUS. The fair will not only offer a space to present all these innovative examples but also opportunities to meet, interact and exchange ideas, bringing together different actors from young artists to entrepreneurs, innovators to teachers, architects, students and inventors.The fair is organized in live and online format with projects from around the world.

FEST: a moment of celebration that combines culture, art and celebration of socializing, freedom of expression with radical, innovative, disruptive ideas and visions. It consists of a cultural program with performances organized at the main venues of the FESTIVAL and throughout Brussels, with opportunities to meet, interact and exchange ideas. Fest also offers Satellite Events, initiatives organized independently in Belgium and other EU Member States.

FORUM: to exchange views and discuss topics related to the NEW EUROPEAN BAUHAUS: sustainability, from climate goals to circularity, zero pollution and aesthetics of biodiversity, quality of experience and style, beyondincluding functionality, from valuing diversity, to ensuring accessibility.The Forum will follow two basic principles of the NEW EUROPEAN BAUHAUS: transdisciplinarity and participation. With a mix of political debates and innovative participatory formats, anyone can join the debate. The forum is organized in live and online format with speakers from around the world. 

ACCOMPANYING EVENTS: events and initiatives organized independently in Brussels and beyond (EU and the world) between 9 and 12 June 2022, with core activities in line with the values ​​of the NEW EUROPEAN BAUHAUS.
