The European Parliament has announced a call for organizations to be responsible for implementing the first module of the Program of Workshops for Young Journalists on monitoring EU issues.

This is a pilot project that in the first phase, in addition to Croatia, will be implemented in 9 other EU member states (Belgium, Bulgaria, Finland, France, Italy, Germany, Poland, Portugal and Spain).

The aim of the workshops is to help media workers at an early stage of their career to understand the European Union and the work of the European Parliament in order to better explain EU topics to the general public and contextualize EU content. The intention is to encourage the strengthening of independent, professional and responsible journalism in the field of European affairs.

This competition is open to legal entities that have proven experience in the media business and the organization of training for media professionals. The selected organizations will be responsible for the implementation of the training of journalists at the national level, their selection and for field activities.
