The European Platform for Cluster Cooperation (ECCP) has launched a call for expressions of interest - Clusters meet regions.

Namely, ECCP plans to coordinate a further 13 European workshops - Clusters meet the regions in the second half of 2022 and during 2023, after the successful events in Malaga in February and Vilnius in April.

This call for expressions of interest involves the selection of national / regional authorities and cluster organizations to lead each of the workshops. The first application deadline is July 29, 2022, by 6:00 p.m.

Events Clusters Meet Regions serve national and regional clusters and policy makers to gather and share experiences, secure new partnerships and learn from each other how to make better use of clusters. Each workshop must be designed to be useful to cluster leaders and policy makers, with the ultimate goal of ensuring that clusters are central to the implementation of the European Union's regional economic, business and social objectives.

This call for applications is intended for all cluster stakeholders who are actively involved or interested in the economic development of their region. It is open to institutions such as clusters, regional economic development agencies and business networks. Please note that a letter of support from your regional authority is required if you wish to apply. Proposals from national and / or regional authorities are also welcome.
