This expression of interest is intended for candidates wishing to join the Think Tank as part of the EUTeens4Green project, which is funded by the EU and supports young people (15-24 years of age) or associations in implementing activities that will promote the green transition in the most vulnerable regions.

DG REGIO has announced the winning proposal: "EUTeens4Green - A New Generation of Youth Ambassadors for an Inclusive Green Transition", a consortium made up of the Startup Europe Network of Regions; Youth and Environment Europe, CEE Bankwatch Network with support for the Climate Europe generation. Their proposal has a budget of almost 1m euros.
The consortium will be responsible for organizing calls for projects open to teenagers residing in one or more areas eligible for the Fair Transition Fund (see list of eligible areas). Teenager projects will aim to increase the participation and involvement of people who are less exposed to the benefits of the green transition. It is aimed at people with limited awareness and understanding of the impact of the “green transition” on their professional and private lives and who at the same time have limited resources or opportunities to participate in defining measures for sustainable transition.
At least 70 teen projects will be funded through the call for projects. Each project will receive a contribution of up to 10,000 EUR. The implementation period will last up to 12 months.
EUTeens4Green is one of four flag initiatives prepared by DG REGIO in the context of the European Year of Youth.

EUTeens4Green is looking for researchers, teachers, fair transition experts and representatives of youth associations to join its advisory group.

Applicants will advise on how to make the green transition work for young people.
