The project - Cultural heritage in action, organizes a study visit in Zaragoza from 26 to 28 October 2022. years.

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone working on culture and cultural heritage for a local, regional or national government, civil society organisation, cultural initiative or project in the EU 27 + UK. The group of selected participants will consist of representatives of European cities and regions, but it is also open to a limited number of cultural heritage stakeholders.
The call for participants is open until September 2, 2022, and the visit will take place from October 26 to 28, 2022. years. Selected candidates (24 per visit) will be notified by the end of September. The project Cultural heritage in action covers the travel expenses and the stay of the participants in Zaragoza.
During the visit, participants will be able to discuss successful local policies and projects, advice, problems and failures. Also, the selected participants will receive useful information and ideas for improving or starting local projects or transferring some of the presented practices.

Topics to be covered during the visit:
• Universal accessibility of cultural heritage: the role of museums: an example of the Between the Lights project implemented at the Gargallo Museum
• Participation and social outreach to dynamize local museums and create an atmosphere of continuous creativity
• The role of local museums towards a young audience: participation, creation, innovation.
