The call for applications for the 2022 #BeInclusive EU Sports Awards is open.

The aim of the #BeInclusive EU Sports Awards 2022 is to reward and give visibility to the best projects that have successfully supported inclusion through sport. In addition to rewarding specific organizations, the awards will provide visibility and support the spread of innovative ideas, initiatives and best practices across Europe.
Proposed projects may include:
• disadvantaged, marginalized or poor groups such as individuals with difficult social, economic or educational backgrounds
• people with disabilities and/or health challenges
• people of different cultural origins.
The awards will also support gender equality and contribute to peace through the integration of migrants and refugees.

Award categories:
• Promotion of gender equality in sports "Be equal": projects promoting the empowerment and participation of women and girls in sports will be awarded. This category will promote examples that make gender equality a reality by setting an inspiring example.
• Sport for peace: projects that use sport as a means to promote peace and European values ​​will be awarded. This category will specifically focus on initiatives that promote the inclusion of refugees, for example in the context of the war in Ukraine.
• Breaking down barriers in sport: projects that give inspiration, showing positive examples of empowerment and role models of groups with fewer opportunities who step up and lead change will be rewarded.

Eligible applicants: legal entities (natural persons, public or private bodies, including international organizations - from EU member states (other in accordance with the program in question).
Deadline for submitting applications: September 29, 2022.
The winner and finalists (second and third place) in each category will be announced at the awards ceremony. Each winner will receive 10,000 euros, and each finalist will receive 2,500 euros.
