On 29 May 2018, the European Commission adopted several proposals aimed at defining the structure of EU cohesion policy for the post-2020 programming period.
The European Commission has submitted to the Council proposals for decisions on the granting of financial support from the SURE instrument in the amount of EUR 81.4 billion for 15 Member States.
The COR will promote cohesion as a core value in all EU policies and programs, and cohesion is more than money, it is a value that leads to sustainable economic growth, creates long-term employment opportunities for all and adopts location-based policies that meet citizens' needs.
